About Bob:
"I began Agility in 2001 when a Kidney Transplant gave me back the ability to pursue sporting activity once again. Too old for my beloved Cricket, I ran around like a headless chicken with a dog that fortunately had a knack of reading the numbers when I forgot the course.

However it wasn't until 2003 that some logic was applied to my training, and a lesson with Greg Derrett and new dog Flynn and was the catalyst for my agility career and to where we are today. Since then I have followed and taught Greg's system, a system that is now common worldwide.

Flynn took me to a level I couldn’t have envisaged on those cold wet nights in Scunthorpe 2 years previously. Later we gave a home to Meg, a timid little rescue dog, who joined him at the top grade and soon surpassed his achievements. She had 2 Reserve Championship Tickets, won the National Laser Pairs Final in 2007, Winner of the inaugural Novice Rescue Dog of the Year competition, made 3 Olympia Semi Finals,(2 of which were missed through injury), appeared at Crufts and had top 4 positions 3 years running at the UKA Royal Canin Finals from 2007-9. She seemed however to reserve her best performances for “ The Hand Stadium” and in 2010 represented Australia in the IFCS World Championships and finished 7th overall handled by Denise Crook who had only met her 3 days before. If further proof of our training ability and success of the system were needed she achieved 5 clear rounds from 6 runs in the WAO try outs , more than any other handler at her height and unluckily just missed out on what would have been a fitting finale for a little girl that is so special to me.

All these successes have been achieved by myself and a variety of trusted handlers who worked her through my injuries and is final proof of both the quality of training offered and the successful handling system we follow. This training ability was recognised when in October 2011 I was privileged to be invited to train in Australia spending time in Brisbane and Sydney teaching very attentive classes of all levels from beginners to members of their World Cup team.

Meg now 11 is in semi retirement but still fit and healthy and running in anysize competitions, Blaze reached Grade 7 in 2012, a truly outstanding achievement for a dog that had no desire for Agility, and one that gave me immense satisfaction as a trainer, whilst Roxy who will be 4 in April 2014 competes at Grade 5 ,being handled by my grand daughter Evie.

The venture is however not about my ability as a handler but of how, as a team, we can help you achieve your agility goals. Our clients come in all shapes , sizes and ages ,the youngest being 13 the oldest almost 70 but each shares the desire to get the best results possible given the time and raw materials available to each individual.

2013 saw another client selected by England to compete in the WAO world championships whilst at the other end of the scale we have the older generations achieving success, winning classes in the highly competitive KC show environment.

Our record of having over 80% of our clients achieving Grade progression continues whilst the influx of newcomers to the sport increases each year.

We would love to be part of your success.
